Coaching Staff

The coaches for 2010 are: Erin Phillips (Head Coach), Cori Hackworth, Lindsay Goodman, and Christopher Goodman.

They are excited to join our team, and we're ecstatic to have them with us! Read on to learn more about each of them.

Erin Phillips (Head Coach) erinphillips@gulfwoodswimteam.com

Erin is excited about her first year as Gulfwood Head Coach.  She brings much knowledge and fun to summer swimming.  A 2009 graduate of Centre College, Erin was a Centre Swim Team member for four years and team captain for three .  A native of Knoxville, she has been swimming since age five on teams including Pilot Aquatic Club, West High School, and Arnstein Jewish Community Center. Erin is very familiar with GKAISA swimming and was the coach for AJCC for five years.  She will begin graduate school at University of Alabama at Birmingham in the fall. 

Cori Hackworth

 

Cori has been the assistant coach for the North Side YMCA for the past four years.  She has been instructing group and private swim lessons, as well as coaching the competitive swim clinic at both the North and West Side branches for eight years.  She is also in the process of earning a Masters in Education at the University of Tennessee.

Lindsay Goodman

Lindsay swam with Gulfwood for 11 years and this will be her 6th year coaching. She swam for Pilot Aquatic Club and is currently swimming for Georgia Southern University.

Christopher Goodman

Chris is excited for his first season as a coach for the Gulfwood Gators.  He has been swimming for Gulfwood since the age of 4 and is currently swimming his 8th year with Pilot Aquatic Club. Chris will be swimming his 3rd season with his high school, Bearden, starting in late September.  He is excited and cannot wait for an awesome season with the gators!
